Ground, or dry, Mustard is the ground seed of the mustard plant. Grown in Canada, it has a hot, pungent flavor. It is referred to as a symbol of faith in the New Testament.
Add to omelets, stuffed eggs, cheese soufflé, cheese spreads and sauces. Use in French dressing, mayonnaise, tomato soup or juice, chicken curry, barbecue sauces, potato salad and ham glaze.
Usage Tips
Add 1/2 teaspoon to water to cook carrots, potatoes and asparagus. Use in mustard sauce and pickles. Add to meat, eggs and poultry.
