Mediterranean Oregano, milder in flavor than the Mexican variety, was used by the ancient Romans. Also called "Joy on the Mountain," it is iterchangeable with marjoram.
Usage Tips
Use 1/2 teaspoon in 8 cups roasted vegetables, or to 4 cups pasta sauces or poultry stuffing. Mix 1/2 teaspoon to 1 pound ground beef for hamburgers or meat loaf. Use the green beans, barbecue sauce, stuffing, poultry and pork.
